The rectangular vent screen reminded me of a screen door, so I used old painted lumber from Glencoe houses to make a front porch screen door. The grater-bodied guy is waving a big welcome to passers-by. Southern hospitality at its best. Almost every front porch had a thermometer, so I thought this working one would make a great head.
