I bought this old commercial bread dough rising pan at an antique store in Chapel Hill (Branching Out at University Mall – a wonderful store!).  I was just beginning to make some smaller figures in my studio when I noticed they would fit in the pans.  As each took on their own personalities, they seemed like they were a family – hence, “5 Sisters.”  This piece can hang on the wall or sit on a table or shelf.
